Savin' Me Chapter 6--Epilogue to Part I

The next morning Music Man was thoroughly exhausted when he finally rolled out of bed. Thankfully he was able to shower and sleep in his own bed last night, but between all the errands he ran and preparations he made for Kat’s arrival he got to bed late and when he tried to sleep he couldn’t shut off his thoughts ( Read more... )

This was absolutelly precious and awesome, my dear friend! I liked how fluffy and sweet were their moments together, sharing their first secrets, learning to share hugs... But you should be careful when you're handling these fluffy moments. I know it's hard not to write in a romantic way (and some expressions here, like "So this is what its like to have your heart outside your body" are something which definitelly gives more romantic vibes, rather than familiar ones). But it's just my opinion :)

I found very interesting how you introduced the Doom Syndicate, as something dark and not too well-know by the public opinion. I'm looking forward to see more about them!!! <333

Ok...I'll try to be more careful. I was a bit divided about that particular sentence. I could amend it to something like, "So this is what it's like to be a parent...," but on the other hand I think I stuck with it because of how it fit with the quotes I incorporated from "The Reign of Megamind," and how I see this quote subtly foreshadowing what will come later--if I make it that far ( ... )

I'll let you decide, now I know your ideas :)

About the DS, here in Spain the news are very open about it. There's this criminal group called ETA, which have been working almost since the 70', killing innocents and stealings weapons, all for political reasons. The Spanish Police has been working with the French Police to capture them, but somehow they always find a way to rebirth from their ashes. The news talk about them almost every week, and when they get names, they say them... So yeah, that's a difference between our countries.

And your last headcanon is something I definitelly see happening. It would be interesting to see more memories of Wayne sharing his thoughts about this.

I have no idea where the bit about the fear of spiders came from, but it adds some much needed comedy to break up the tension.

Doing some thinking about the chapter I kinda felt like I needed to fill a few plot holes. By having Music Man ask about Kat's Dad and Kat ask about Music Man's super-speed.

Originally I didn't plan on having Denise in the chapter, but I guess I want to leave the door open to Music Man having her as a resource when and if he needs advice.
