wow, this was really great! The moment with the star was really touching, and the conversation with Roxanne and Megamind was really intense! I didn't expect Roxanne would be so harsh since the beginning, though. Great chapter! ^^

I think Roxanne's worse fear is that if Wayne were to come out of "retirement" it would generally create a public relations nightmare and potentially take away everything Megamind has gained since the Titan disaster.

I haven't thought about this too much, but it is possible that more than once Music Man has heavily leaned on Megamind and Roxanne to help him forge his new identity as "Bret Hart."

You apply for employment, an apartment, car, whatever people want proof of your identity.

Certainly yes. I can see him wanting to lean more on Roxanne, and she refusing to help him because of her fears and anger...

The way I see it Wayne's primary reason for calling is to get advice about what to buy Kat for Christmas so naturally he is going call Roxanne.

The fact he is able to talk to both Roxanne and Megamind at the same time is an unplanned bonus, but not unrealistic.

Roxanne might also be a bit upset because of the phone call interrupting her sleep or sexytimes--I'll let you decide.

I think on a certain level Roxanne is genuinely concerned, but her way of expressing it is angry.

I finally could read all of it!!! WHat a wonderful development of the Megamind-Roxanne-Wayne conversation!!! I seriously think that's the greatest part. Excellent job hun!

Yeah, I wasn't sure if I was over doing it with Roxanne and Megamind not only questioning Wayne's intentions, but also Kat's back story and character.

But I managed to turn things around so it would end on a high note and Wayne wouldn't come away from the conversation empty handed.

I'm guessing that you were multi-tasking when you started to read this and forgot to leave a comment...

When you can I would appreciate getting your feedback to be sure I am not...I don't know being too emo or something...

My current thinking is Kat will be feeling a lot less insecure come Christmas and moving forward. :shrug: A lot like me she doesn't cope with change very well.

FInally I could get the time time enough to re-read all of it!!! It had so many wonderful details that i had to read it very carefully.
1) I honestly loved the mentions you do here to Mrs.Scott. Maybe she wasn't his real mother but Wayne got a lot of things from her, and that makes him really human.
2) Gotta love the emails. They go directly to the point, and they're very easy to read. PLus Denise's admices are really great.
3) My heart melted when Kat gave him that little chance. Maybe things didn't chancge much ut it's a beginning. I adore it.

Maybe the drama is a bit overdone, but I'm actually glad to be bringing Denise back into the story.
