Normally I don't read this pairing, but the summary of this fic piqued my interest and I ended up really enjoying it. I could imagine these sorts of misunderstandings happening as Jim and Spock tried to learn to work together, especially given Jim's understandable insecurities upon being thrown so soon into a command situation. Very nicely done!

I found this yesterday through crackenterprise. I really enjoyed reading this. I'm a sucker for enemies > partners > friends > lovers, so this was just what my id desired.

Spock's sudden realization that he loves Jim actually made me laugh. He was as oblivious as some people in my own family to whom I've compared him a time or two.
