I've often wondered how it would have gone if it had been Sam out there with the Crossroads Demon. I like how you explored that. :) Bringing not only Dad, but Jess back is a really tempting deal, but I like how Sam knows that Dean absolutely *would* be affected by the outcome.

Only one bit of concrit - Evan's last name is Hudson, not Handler. That's it, though. Very nice job, thanks for sharing! :)
