I was in the 2007 Bent Festival twice this year. I felt like the second time was really half-arsed(albeit really fun cos I got to play synth drums like Peter Hook, but the first time was spot-on.

This is really bad.
I went to this listening session at my internship on Wednesday, during which the composer displayed his intentions in a thorough, detailed powerpoint presentation. It was a fascinating story, but it felt as though the explanation was far more detailed than necessary, and kind of took away whatever mystery the piece may have had ( Read more... ) -
