Man, I wish I could tell some of you what the past 3 weeks of my life have consisted of, but I gotta know you in person to do that. Or I might post about it a year or two down the line.

Sorry, its less for my secrecy, and more for a friend's secrecy.

In that case, then, life has really just been about earning money and, in my opinion, doing a lot yet feeling like doing a little. This is my 5th week of summer work, yet it does not in any way FEEL like summer. Library work is cheap yet easy, compared to what some of my friends are making or will make^_^;;; but I like it. For the time being, that is. I really really REALLY don't want to grow up to be a librarian. I enjoy having library knowhow and working with an all-female staff (seriously, there is not another guy in my department; the closest male is Spencer who works in Technical Services. And OIS is evil and not really a branch of the library anyways.)

Speaking of OIS (for those of you not in the know, OIS is the Office of Information Services, I.E. Computer Wiseguy Inc. of the University of Puget Sound) one of their supervisors came to the circ. desk with a question. She was looking up a record in the library catalog and it said the following:

"Click on the following link to: Electronic book, optical laser disc."

She wanted a librarian.

I asked her: "Did you click on the link?"

She said: "....no..."

So I had Brooke do that for her (I was busy checking out some books) and, sure, enough, the link takes you directly to the ELECTRONIC AND COMPLETE FULLTEXT VERSION OF THE BOOK ONLINE FOR YOUR CONVIENENCE.

I had a mighty crow at that one. Heh, anyways...

So yeah, here was the breakdown of each week and weekend thus far:

Weekend 1: Holly goes, store her stuff in my room, Graduation for Seniors of 2004 which I attended and gave my congrats to for myself and others.

Week 1: Mom stresses me out about Hawai'i trip on my first lunch break; stuff I can't talk about doesn't work out, I get stressed and feel way too much responsibility then I should.

Weekend 2: Tell mom I am going to Hawai'i afterall-do research for stuff I can't talk about, still more responsibility for it then I should. Hang out with Pete (I think?)

Week 2: Lonely without Holly around, stuff I can't talk about gets underway, things are looking up but I can't believe I haven't gotten to relax yet. Miles doesn't know exactly when he's going; Pete may not be around for July-both making me stress because I feel ultimately responsible for both of them. Try to encourage them to find out; make a firm stance that the 275+utilities/month is not my responsibility. Hope things work out.

Weekend 3: Carpet cleaning, moving, etc. etc. Holly returns Monday the 31st, driving again.

Week 3: Moving stuff back, project I can't talk about gets into full swing, Holly cooking again=YAY =D but still haven't really gotten to relax

Weekend 4: Holly accompanies me to the arcade on Friday. I pass Concertino in Blue on Advanced with a C =D for the first time ever. Treat her to Chinese food at North China Inn, a place visited for the first time. Beginning of "treat Holly once a weekend" policy for the summer. Hope Pete and Samara and Miles will actually accompany us one of these times. Sub for someone on Saturday til 5:15 PM. Let Holly rest, Samara and Pete return; buying of a computer desk on Sunday. Pete helps me assemble computer desk. A bitch. Afterwards, some relaxation. Holly begins to get sick.

Week 4: Back to work. System developed and working well. Things looking up. Kind of annoyed that Pete isn't around or won't be around til August, yet also annoyed that Miles leaves soon. Everyone going and coming and I am the only constant. I wonder if this is for better or for worse? I wonder who waits for me? Holly sick.

Weekend 5: Paid soon. Bought 80 Gig Western Digital HDD for $100 at Best Buy, but with $50 in mail-in rebates it will ultimately become $50 HDD. Which is Sweet. Also, want to finish refurbishing my computer while Miles is here, BUT I also need money for Animexpo, so decide that I really have to wait on it =/ unfortunately. If Miles is still around come July 15th, when I get paid (or when/if I get the new Mastercard I applied for) then I promise that the first thing(s) I shall buy are a videocard, processor, motherboard, tower, and misc. at Fry's with him. If he is not around, then I ask/force(?) Pete to accompany me. Get to relax (finally.) Holly beginning to get over being sick. Treat Holly to Chevy's for dinner. Have excellent Shrimp and Crab enchiladas.

Week 5: Secret project nearing end phase. No, probably all of you have the wrong idea about what it could be, and anyone who DOES know don't say here, please >=( Haha, I bet Peter wants to know! =D Maybe I'll tell you eventually. Like, in a month.

Concerns for the moment:
Having enough $ for Animeexpo. Well, I'll have $. But can I have "enough?" Stay tuned!
Problem is, see, I get paid the 15th of every month for my work from the PAST month. Thus, this month I only make 700 for my 2 weeks of work last month, and I won't get my 1280 for work this month until July 15th. It can be a tough work schedule to work around, so to speak.
Greg needs to tell me what the "logistics" are for AX. Since he volunteered to organize everything if I got people to pledge to go.
Pre-registered for AX just so that I wouldn't have to worry about that $45 later.
Relaxing. Enjoying summer. Have Holly's car now, so it SHOULD be easy. Yet it isn't in certain ways =/
Senior thesis prokect next semester. Not concerned, really-I know I'll be fine. But still, should research in the coming months.

Picnic at Point Definance.
Temperature needs to get to mid-80s/90s soon.
I don't mind sweating.

Okay.
Wow, I actually liked that method of writing stuff down. Hope you all did too.
