Let's attempt this again
I will be much more careful posting these pics so my hard work doesn't get wiped off the internets this time. Anyway, this will be abbreviated from my last attempt, but, here are a few pictures of the last month of events: mostly our trip to California and Hollywood!, a place which should always have an exclamation point after it, am I right?
This is Abby's school Christmas party and that blonde boy in the white shirt is her latest crush. She will KEEL me for posting that, but oh well. This will be my last year for attending her school parties. :(
Sorry about the blurry one of us--it's the only one I got of all three of us that day.
Ok, moving on to trying to take pics for the Christmas card, we were attempting one with the three pets--in costume!!-- but that went about as well as you could expect (a debacle) and Oreo was the only participant in her jaunty elf hat. But the kids looked like zombies. Here are the best shots, then things devolved quickly into a wrestling match, as they usually do, and during the pileup I managed to snap the picture that went on our card, for better or worse:
Skipping ahead, Abby recently got glasses. They are bright purple and very cute, I want some.
And now for our most recent trip to Cali....the kids opened presents from the in-laws and the next day we went to Hollywood! and did the touristy thing, which in all the dozens of years we have visited Mike's family, we have never done before. I was the worst fangirl of the bunch--("look, it's Barbara's Streisands star!!!!!") much to my kids' embarrassment.
Some quick shots of the assault on my sanity cartrip there. These photos don't even begin to capture the awesome temper of my 3 yr old.

I was sad when Abby didn't know who Marilyn Monroe was, but she is well acquainted with Judy, Gene, Debbie and Julie, so her education of the classic old-school stars isn't lost. I think her and I have just about watched every musical ever made together. Almost.
