Day 14
Two weeks into this thing called marriage and we made a life changing decision today. We got a new car. It is a Chevrolet HHR.
My mother was very helpful and mostly pleasent during the entire process. I was shocked. The sales man was a World War II vet named Jack. He was one of those old guys that you just want to take home and be your grandfather. He expressed his love of being white and his hatered for the "Japs". He was a honnest man who was making a living late in his life. I was so moved by him and his nature I even gave him a hug when I left and genuinly thanked him for what he has done. He reminded me of my grandpa so I was a little attached to him. Sweet man.
