Reminds me of when my dad pushed two bullies into the doorway of a hockey rink, They were going to do it to him, but he was a scampish child! Hehehe. Did he get in trouble . . . I don't remember him mentioning it. Heh.
You VP vaguely reminds me of one of the ones I have in HS. (Interesting story, so here I go)
I worked at a hotel as coat check, on Christmas day no less. My friend Chris said they would help me on that particualr day. They did show on Christmas day, no answer on the phone, I did eventually get help, but he did lie to me (and later I found out he ate dinner at the same hotel I was working at well I was there). Me no likie, not at all. When we got back to school, I tracked him down, grabbed his shirt collar and let him know what was what. He went crying to the VP, who called in his mom. Now keep in mind in HS I was skinny, geeky, and mild mannered (mostly), and my actions toward my friend, freaked the VP out. So that is now my friend got around to doing my homework for me! (hey, the VP, told him he had to! *evil grin*)
Also, my dad was a farm boy and the bullies were town boys. My dad was a bit of a brick shit house. Wwwwooo!
That's about the same way I got the bullying to stop at one school too. Usually since we moved around so much, I had 'stranger' vibes that many people would avoid for easier targets. Helps being a person that can say a lot w/o words :-)
As for how to stop it in schools - homeschool all kids. Only way it'd stop.
