It's hard to say; when I saw it, he did cry, and it was a real, hearty cry. It may have been because he was given a few minutes of applause and a small standing ovation. It may have been scripted. Either way, I believed it and felt it.

Yeah, that's the thing. I only saw it once, and it was the performance after the TONY's so I dont know if he was crying for real or if it was just part of his character. Oh well.
