Saw ROTS last night. Movie best of the new trilogy. Lucas can't write dialog to save his life. Anakin and Amidala have chemistry of dead fish. Ewan McGregor is trying very hard to be Alec Guinness, and does a good job of it. He makes me belive he's a young Obi-Wan. Chewbacca was not nessessary, nor was Wedge Antilies, but seeing Moff Tarkin

I thought the chemistry between Anakin and Padme was considerably better than in the last movies (though still not great). Hayden Christiansen's acting was good enough to make me believe he could have handled the role had he been given decent lines.
The beginning was lame. What's with the stupid 'buzz droids'? A nice self guided mine would have been simpler and far more effective. Land - grab - *Boom* no more problem. The writing for that entire first scene all the way through the landing was really quite lame. Weakest part of the film.
And, as you say, the turn is too sudden, too easy, and flies like a neutronium duck.
The clones rock though. All the way through they rock. Best part of both Eps II and III for me.
Grievous. What a stupid name.
Ewan MacGregor was quite simply amazing. It was like he was channelling Alec Guinness. Just wonderful.
And yes, the whole "I'm now Darth Vader in the suit" part was lame-o.
