Post-camp entry (2 weeks late)

Camp ended yesterday for everyone. I wasn't there for the last two weeks, but in all honesty, I don't care. Usually, I would check out whats happening back at camp and I would feel as if I was missing something. This year it's different. I could care less what's going on back at camp. It's weird. Usually, I find the school year ending with a rise of panic because it feels like I've wasted an entire year of my life. This year, I felt no such thing, but I also accomplished the bare minimum of living expectations.

Reminds me of Drew Barrymore in Donnie Darko. "I don't think that you have a clue what it's like to communicate with these kids. We are losing them to apathy... to this prescribed nonsense. They are slipping away."

Sounds like a shitty year for the camp, though.

true that.
my 4th year at nashopa kinda felt like my 3 1/2th year, cus it was just so like...incomplete.
and yeah, it's pretty obvious who that one kid is.
and finding out that Marvin was dead was definetley the landmark that nashopa was dead too.
