Yuck. For the past three days, I have not made my word count. In fact, two out of those three (so far), I haven't written anything at all. Well, not anything on the story. more progress
Had some fits and starts this week, but for the past couple of days I've been writing more than the 600 words per day that I've set myself as a goal. (Yesterday I wrote 981 words!) Which is good, since it makes up for the two days where I just could not get up at 6am, not for love nor money. Last night my working file hit 100K, which is the point ( Read more... ) -

We went and saw UP today. We were going to go last night, but the Paradiso is only showing it as a 3D movie, and since Whisper has lazy eye, she can't see 3D (the new 3D tech is supposed to be really good, unless you have a vision problem that prevents you from seeing 3D, at which point you get ghosting). Our prodigal has returned as of this morning; apparently kitty adventures are all very well and good, but thunderstorms are a different matter. Like an amber alert, only for kitties. Our cats went on wander last night--our patio door had swung open when we went for ice cream. Aeneas was quickly located in the neighbors' patio, trying to figure out how to get back to ours and crying for all he was worth. But Elektra was nowhere to be found.
