I wish there was a way to have those profiles deleted, but then again it is sort of a way she lives on... through the work she did, that she mostly enjoyed doing, through her pictures, and on the web through profiles that still linger... Just don't really know why someone who doesnt know her would go out of their way to ask this quesion...
His profile talks a lot about him being "curious". You know there is a link to myspaces of dead people somewhere... someone sent it to me but I couldn't handle it, too morbid. I certainly understand morbid curiosity but it's a little insensetive of him to email me... though he seems pretty sincere.
Granted, I may be the ridiculous optimist here, but I get more of an impression that it's completely sincere. I suspct this person chose to email you because she did refer to you a lot and she even plugged the "lingerie for Katrina" promotion the two of you were involved in, so for all they know you were her best friend...and I know how much she talked about you, so it's not a totally wrong guess. There have been quite a few occasions where I have come across someone's bio, like a famous person or just a friend of a friend, and found them really interesting only to find they have already died and suddenly get sad despite the fact I never knew them and should not invest so heavily in that loss. Consequently, if I had opportunity to talk to someone who knew them, I would be full of questions despite not knowing them well.
and I guess on another level, it's somewhat nice to see that a stranger would still care, because frankly, I still think of her a lot, and I don't want her to be forgotten by an indifferent world.
