It's funny that it's my busiest night and here I am, typing in an entry when I ought to be doing work.

But I need to sort of warble a bit. Just a bit.

Been watching this show, nice, light, brainless fluff, affectionately known as HanaKimi, and one of Taiwan's famous 偶像剧 (literally "idol shows").  It's based on a Japanese manga with a long name, and

Hee! I read the original (and was hooked on it for a bit) so I am quite biased in my watching. It's a decent adaptation, if you don't believe in following manga too closely. My regret is about the casting: the doctor character's a lot cooler in the manga (And not so weird) and the football star (who isn't as squealy or freaked out in the manga, even though he does have the gay doubts).

It's a nice show though.

Hm, yes, I was quite grossed out by the doctor character. I thought he was a good actor in a ridiculous role.

I liked the football star in the TV show! He's quite sweet and adorable. Want to turn him into a canary and hear him sing! (Not that I've heard the Feilunhai boys sing...also not like I'm expecting they really can sing well...)

haha. Oh dear, I just dissed the manga, right? i didn't really enjoy the little I saw as much as I should've...oh dear. but YES, the doctor was cooler...

the football star is cute. sometimes i forget and then i watch again and remember how cute he is. :D
