It's funny, earlier this year I was thinking about buying an iPod but wasn't really excited about the then-current models. Beyond music, I wanted something that would play movies. At the time I promised myself I would buy one when a widescreen iPod came out

Doubtful ... it seems they have locked in their pricing for the holiday season.

BTW ... I'm enthralled with my iPhone. Truly a sexy piece of technology. If you're looking at the touch, I expect you will be similarly impressed.

I do recommend going down to an Apple store and fondling one.

If I'm not mistaken, I will have to wait a few weeks to go fondle one. But when they are available I will have to do that.
