So I just "finished" writing this paper that feels like so much of what I have been trying to say for the past 3 years of grad school, or 20 years of school, or 24 years of being alive. It's not all there yet, but at this moment, this paper is bringing me so much closer to what I need to say, and I think I finally have a thesis topic

I read your paper -- and I really appreciate what you are saying here. I feel like a lot of what I produced academically (for my masters in education) was very much in line with the fight you're fighting. even my undergraduate thesis was kind of related, although we come at things from different angles.

if you'd ever want to read it -- even though it's really just an introduction to a collection of my poetry -- it's called "navigating silence" and draws a lot on audre lorde and adrienne rich as influences of mine and why they are and finding a voice, etc etc. I can email it (google docs isn't working for me right now).
