Ohhh, I loved this! To be honest, I've been secretly hoping since basically forever that you would write a Cara/Kahlan fic with dinosaurs in it, so this was like :D! I admit to googling pterosaur (how awesome are dinosaur names) before I started reading, so it was really easy for me to picture Kahlan coddling a baby one and Cara huffing irritably while it nipped at her.

It starts like this:

I was going to gather more bits of things that amused me but it's basically the entire thing, honestly.

Oh, this though:
It's been a long while since the bird-lizard allowed her to pet it, and it seems Kahlan has taken to petting Cara instead.

Heeeee, I have been wanting to put dinosaurs in Seeker fic since always too, but it's a lot harder to make it work for fantasy shows than in sci-fi. Finally I just decided to screw logic do it anyway.

This story was absolutely great!
Guess Kahlan would keep anything - bird-lizard or Gar or Shadrin baby - but it's soo adorable.
I also liked the sexytimes - Cara taking off her leathers due to rain always gets me.
Anyways, lovely story.
