So my school went on lock-down today for an hour.
I was in the middle of double-period Biology at the time.
THREE HOURS OF BIO.
Dear god.

Kind of amusing thing: My teacher had no idea if she locked the door. Like, she locked it, then she totally forgot, spent ten minutes panicked about it, unlocked it, locked it again. Rinse. Repeat. I worry sometimes

Man, I have been hearing the CRAZIEST stories about what happened. Anyone know the truth?

Mr Wright told us there was never a gun actually in the school, just some kid threatened to bring one...
But apparently something was found in one of the classrooms?

A police officer at the school found out about a fight on a pedestrian walkway outside the school around 1 p.m., Maj. Bob Rappaport tells WTOP.

The school went into a Code Red - meaning classrooms were locked and a sweep of the building was conducted - after rumors that a gun was involved in the fight, police say.

The Code Red was later lifted.

Police describe the fight as an assault, but did not find a gun. They are interviewing witnesses.
