A Man from UNCLE/My Fair Lady/Pygmalion crossover

Rating: Suitable for family viewing

Splendid! I don't even remember Harry Beldon, but I'm sure this must have happened. The various documents are woven to Moonstone-y perfection, and it is the very opal of slashiness--depending on which light the reader chooses to view it in.

Harry Beldon only appears in one episode, but he makes a big splash.

Deary me, I'm sure I don't know what you mean by opals of slashiness - no morals could possible be harmed in the reading this story, even in those of tender years and delicate sensibilities.

Rather like Anna Grant, then?

But Young Persons should not be encouraged to conceal relevant items of employment experience, nor to place their pastors and masters in fear of their lives by perforating their hats.

Lord, no! She's right out of his league. Anna Grant must be entitled to some sort of award for Maximum Generation of Shockwaves By A Character Appearing In Only One Episode.

But Young Persons should not be encouraged to conceal relevant items of employment experience

Indeed, it was very silly behaviour, but at least he was not rewarded for it, unlike in so many of these modern novels.

Excellent! You did a smashing job on this. It was believable and in canon and funny at the same time.

Thank you! Credit for the idea must go to a third party, but once I started thinking about it, the two worlds mapped onto each other so ridiculously well, I couldn't resist writing it.

This is brilliant! I was grinning all the way through and laughed so much that Tessa vacated my lap. It's hard to pick one thing from a collection of gems, but:

Apparently Sov. U. pulled wool over Alexander's eyes (kudos to them, doesn't happen often) and contributed speccy scientist as their part of recent deal.

I am unreasonably amused by this.

Thank you! I honestly didn't have to do any "work" on this one at all - once Henry Higgins-Beldon started sounding off, it just wrote itself.
