The subject of unnecessary fights has been on my mind quite a bit lately. I and several people I know are exceedingly passionate about our politics and that definitely comes out on Facebook. I have been working the past several months to dial back the degree to which I engage those who clearly do not share my viewpoint. After the initial conversation is over (the one where you determine that you don't agree and can't change the other person's mind), there really is no point to continuing to engage each other
