OkiDay, Boys and Girls. Here's the resuscitated Inu-Anime! I've only watched it once, but i like it. (Yeah, I know. Beggers can't be choosers). Favorite bits?

I watched the raw last night - I still have to rewatch it with the subtitles (I was busy catching up on a month's worth of Bleach episodes before it aired again last night).

Anyway, there are parts missing I wished they had animated, but I'll go back and reread the manga and catch all they left out. I agree - beggers can't be choosers and I enjoyed what I saw (and i'll probably enjoy it more when I actually know what they're saying without guessing though parts of it were fairly obvious, anyway).

I do look forward to seeing more of it though I wish they had taken more than 26 episodes to finish it out - but at least they're finishing it rather than leaving it hanging.

well one of the nice things about forgetting so much is that if all feels new to me:)

Twenty six episodes doesnt' seem like a lot from the standpoint of the endless manga, but for an anime series Part II it's a pretty good effort.

I think they did a good job of picking and choosing and character emphasis for what they have time for. I liked it a whole lot. I was actually pleased they did that scene from the Kind Boy chapter...I've always wanted to see that animated...

It's hard weaving a tale that's coherent when you have to do so much in so little time. It was a very good start.

I agree. Considering all they have to work with they have a lot to choose from and they need to try to keep it action packed to get the attention of all the newbies.

Also, I thought they did a good job of kindof bringing you up to date on the story if you hadn't seen it before. It was pretty clear. Bad guy=Naraku. Shards=important. Inutachi=good guys.

I'm completely happy with last night's episode and it's good to actually hear from some other people who are as well. I couldn't believe the amount of bitching I was seeing last night within a few hours of the episode hitting the net. :(

I am loving it. Like a reunion with old friends. And I'm even kind of glad they offed Hakadoushi so quickly. MAN that kid was annoying.

And the ending--love the song and montage. *The red thread* OMG. Let the squees begin.

i'm not so glad H bit the big one quite so soon. i loved to hate him. but you're right. he gets more annoying points than just about anyone in the series. speaking of which, do we ever see myoga again?

is it weird that one of my favorite parts is the end credits?

The end credits are my favorite, too.

I suspect we'll all be seeing a lot more of each other now that the Inutachi are back in town.
