Exercise more; sleep less

Isn't exercise suppose to help one sleep better at night? Nowadays whenever I do exercise, I'm wide awake after only 4-5 hours of sleep.
Just like now... I woke up totally refreshed and can go back to sleep. And it's only 02:45 in the morning!

I seem to recall reading that excersizing in the evening might not be as conductive to sleeping better as working out earlier in the day. Of course I don't know what time you're excersizing, bbut if it is later in the day, that could be something to consider.

I don't live a very active life, so what I meant with exercise was lots of walking...
But it's good to know not to do any heavy exercise in the evening. Thanks for that tip!
