It's been a while since Faye was in the Nexus, having been trapped in her world for a while. She's now LOL free, and totally human as she wanders the Nexus, apparently looking for a certain someone or anyone else she might know. So far, she's hand no luck ( Read more... )

Nova had been walking home after a job, and was passing by the lake when she saw a familiar figure perched on a log nearby. Quickly she activated the cloaking device and disappeared, moving silently up behind the girl.

She's completely unaware that she's there, and it doesn't help that she's preoccupied with thoughts of Nova. Does she still want her, even? She'll understand if she doesn't, even if she was locked out of the Nexus. Stupid PINpoint broke.

There's a moment when Nova straightens up behind the girl before Faye is grabbed from behind by a pair of strong, invisible arms. One hand covers her mouth while the other grabs her around the waist and begins pulling her backwards.

Ed had been out taking a walk in the woods to get away from people for while when he ran across a very familiar scent. One he hadn't smelled for some time. So he follows the trail until he's finally led to the owner.

He deliberately steps on a dead stick so the cracking noise would warn Faye that there was someone there before he actually spoke. "And that would be what? Getting to a little populated area?"

The sudden noise causes her to start and almost fall off the log. "Hey, what's with people and scaring me today?" She does smile at him though. "That'd be searching the whole place for people I just happen to know." She hasnen't been lucky. At all.

"Sorry. Did that so I wouldn't scare you." Ed looks sheepish.

"There's not many people out here, which is why I'm out here. I think I'm starting to need a break from people for a couple of days." He shrugs, then chews on his lower lip. "I've, uh, missed you."

The teenager looks rather sheepish herself as she shifts around to talk to him. . "I should be a little more aware of everything, huh?"

She smiles again, this time a little sadly. "Me too, Ed. Been a while." After her reply, she gives him a quick hug.
