It had been a long time since Florian had last been in Grand Chokmah, and he was pretty sure this was the first time he had been in Guy's manor. It wasn't as big as the cathedral, but it was definitely brighter and more open. Then again, that seemed to be the general architectural style of the Malkuth capital.
He had deposited his supplies in a room he had been given and promptly took the opportunity to explore. Even interacting with Tear as he had, he still found it more than a little surreal to be talking to people who weren't actually his friends -- or acquaintances, for that matter.
Finally leaving the manor, Florian trotted along the small path that wound through a little clearing besides the building. His brows perked up at the sight of a teen under a tree, his curiosity piqued.
In the end, the first book didn't work out. He still couldn't understand how the book was popular among the nobles - it sure confused the heck out of him. The farmer plowing was supposed to be time? And this time period was both the best and the worst? Sighing, he plopped it on the ground and started to pick up a new one.
Blinking, he looked up at the boy passing by him. Was that...? Smiling, he got up from his position. "Florian?"
Placing the book under his arm, the teen walked slightly closer to bridge their gap (if there was any at all). "How've you been?" Well, this had certainly been an unexpected surprise. He had to admit, though, this was one he definitely didn't mind.
