Everlasting Bagstopper. I think I may make one for my mom. Maybe not in the yarn it calls for, though $22 for a project isn't bad. Maybe in a discount yarn...

I'm planning to work a similar project in crochet- one of the Lilly Sugar 'n Creme balls I bought came with a pattedn for a mech bag (no solid bottom, I'd have to add that). I always need more bags- I use them for everything: storage, travel, projects, shopping...
I shall remember to look into hemp for it instead of cotton. Sounds more sturdy.
