I have this idea for something we're going to call a scarf, because it's a giant long piece of flat knitting, part Dr. Who Scarf, part this neat scarf-thing here, part Hitchhiker's Guide towel.

What if I did it as 4 6-foot-long scarves, with a button set on each end (holes on one end, buttons on the other).
That way, all 4 could button together into a blankie side-by-side, or one could be sleeves and the other three a scarf end-to-end, or all four could be a giant scarf end-to-end!
That would make a 6' x 6' blanket. With Buttons.
