So glad I discovered this story it is awesome. This situation with Jeffery is quite interesting, he is definitely not like the others. His giggling and sing-song voice is quite unsettling. This story is so addicting that yesterday I kept on reading till 5am and even then it was hard to stop and go to sleep. I created a livejournal account cause I needed to tell you how awesome this story is. It is the best fanfiction apocalypse story I've read so far. The parallels you make with the original storyline make the story all that more complex and engaging. Can't wait to read more.
