Winter is a totally new thing for me. Growing up in LA there wasn't really winter, so it's still kind of magical to me.

2. How about snow? Does it redeem an otherwise-gloomy season or just annoy you?

It's AWESOME!!! Ok, not quite, but I'm still kind of amazed by it. Snow is new to me.

3. How does winter effect you physically, emotionally, etc? What do you do about that, if anything?

I love winter season at my school cos we all grow really close. There's not much to do, so we hang out a lot.

4. Do you celebrate $winterholiday(s)? If so, which one(s)? What do you like or dislike about them?

No. As a kid we celebrated Yule but I don't celebrate anything anymore.

5. Do you have inherited or created winter traditions for holidays, foods, activities, etc?

Nope.

isn't winter going to Affect someone, rather than Effect them? Obviously, there can be after effects :)

I dunno...people are house-bound, nothing to do, want to stay warm, are tipsy, in the holiday spirit...winter might effect some people. ;-)

yeah, but doesn't it *present tense* affect you and the effects come after? I'm not saying it's not possible, just that one is more likely.
