I tell people I'm religious but not spiritual. But of course that's not true, I'm both. By "religious" I mean connected to others with similar faith by an institution. I'm religious because I believe that spirituality is about groups of people, not about individuals.

Well, I'm unabashadly Christian. Unfortunately some others have taken this word and turned it into something quite unrecognizable, and unchristian. But I choose to hang on to it in hopes it'll get fixed.

Just what is the difference exactly between religious and spiritual? For me, if you're religious, you're also spiritual. I am religious.

Yes, my family's Catholic too. I'm thankful for that and I have a greater self-identification to my religious heritage.
