More Swiss stuff

One of the interesting things about living here in Europe is the multiculturalism of the place. It's really noticeable - people talk about Britain being a multicultural society, but really we're quite a stay-at-home bunch. What's the summer like in Switzerland? I am thinking (far in the future) of moving countries to somewhere that has a real summer.

Well, I arrived on 1 June and it spent a week or two being about as nice as the best bits of the English summer, then went through a really quite hot (up to about 36°C iirc) phase which would probably qualify as a "real summer". It's now thankfully rather milder, at 20°Cish. I gather that the summers here are, by and large, warmer than in the UK.
