I went to the doctor on Monday, she prescribed me blood pressure medication because my pressure was 190/110. I guess that is too high. Anyway, I have been taking the medication for 3 days now and it is not agreeing with me. I got dizzy at work and was unable to breathe so needless to say, they sent me home. Another holiday that the banks are closed, Yippee!!! I have to go for a physical in about 2 hours. My eye doctor suggested that I go and get a test for diabetes because my vision is getting worse. I am not a big fan of the doctor but I guess it is preferrable to going blind. I will let you know the outcome...wish me luck.

What a day! I was up late last night because Steve did not pick Nikole up until about 11 and then I had to go and get her at 7 this morning. I went to Great America yesterday with Justine and Nikole. It was packed but we did get to see the concert. It was a good show with all types of people there. I was not even sure who Natasha Bedingfield was but there were a couple of her songs that I did recognize. They are working on the street in front of my house so I have to drive to the bakery to get my mail and drag the garbage to the end of the block weekly for pick up. Well, I have an actual 3 days off from both jobs! I am on vacation from the bank until Thursday and did not have to work my second job today. I am thrilled. I got some house cleaning done today so I feel much better. Well, I did it...I bought a new car! It is a cute little Chevy Aveo, blue/green color (sticker on window called is Tahiti Green), with a sunroof. It is a cute car and I have been told that I deserve it so I will just enjoy it and try not to think about the monthly payments!!

Worked all weekend at Great America and all week at my full time job. The job at Great America is exhausting and I am feeling the burn now but its good exercize, fresh air and nice people so I will stick it out. The bad thing is that I do not have another day off until Memorial Day (took two days of vacation after that). I am so looking forward ( Read more... )
