The grapes in the supermarket were tiny. They were the size and shape of gooseberries. They tasted fine, but all of them were tiny. The country of origin said Spain, and I assume its because of the lack of water there. But the grapes were in a major supermarket in London, so for those to be the only ones they could provide the customer, suggests those were the only ones available.
Although now is the year to buy English wine because it's literally Champagne. The south coast of England shares a rock bed with the Champagne region, so if we get persist sunshine climate wise, for that year the English wine is - literally - champagne, but cheaper. There's zero taste difference between the two.
