You've got to figure that after a little over three years I'd be willing to come home with no further notice, right? Then why do I feel as if it would help to stay a fourth year in Togo to continue figuring things out? No matter how appealing it is to mooch off my mom for a year, I feel that at 26 I'm going to be just a lil bit to old to do so. Therefore it's stay here or look at colleges so that I can find a job in order to not live in the States and come back to West Africa. Odd how you can fall in love with something so utterly and completely like I have with Togo. But really, who else would put up with my mood swings and where else would I get a package of tp with a note saying that the sender hopes my ass is happy? I'll have you know I hoarded that and others were jealous. I should probably update. Haven't done that for ages and oh the stories I can tell. Like getting attackes with a machete in Lome.

ha. i am amazed that package ever got to you. if i remember correctly, it got there *months* after i sent it. as an interesting related note, they have cut back production on that type of T.P. and it's a lot harder to find. i still find it though.

i think you should stick with togo as long as you can (finances and 'real things' permitting). i've enjoyed living vicariously through your posts there (coming from someone who's never left the country even).

...at the very least why don't you update your icon? i mean, lord of the rings was more than a few years ago, right?
