Xander is really messed up in the head, but I do believe Spike is about to get messed up in all the other parts. Very good. And Spike can talk all he wants about not caring or protecting Xander, actions do speak louder than words.

I will say he's gonna try. There's an innate 'humanity' for lack of a better word, in Spike, but there's not much to be done when Angelus gets his head in a space. I'm really glad you're enjoying this.
