So I'm not really sure as to what I want to do with my life. I was having a conversation with one of my customers while Kim and Eva were having another conversation dealing with education. I'm 35 years old and I have no idea on what I want to do other than get out of coffee. Physically its way too demanding and the repetitive motion is killing me.

You just need to OWN the coffee shop. Grin. Why not take a class here and there? You can try online ones if you don't want to do any commute but it might help you find something you like or just be interesting. Also, doing it a class at a time takes longer but makes it a whole lot more affordable.

She's right, ya know, a business degree could be used for a whole lot of things. I assure you, though, it's hell to go through school and then find out that you're "just not really that into" your major. That's my issue right now. I just don't really give a damn about a career in either my major (psych) or my minor (anthropology). As far as I'm concerned, the only real good thing my degree has done is to allow me to command higher pay at what are essentially menial jobs. So take some time and figure out a passion, if you have one. If you don't, make sure you school yourself in something that is widely useful, so you can fit in anywhere.

It's hard to give advise on this I think. I tell the boy all the time that you don't need to have the piece of paper. You just need to find what you LOVE to do and find a way into it. If you find you like working in said field then concider where a degree in it can get you.

I have 2 BA's and really no good job has come from them because I spent all my time in school and no time being able to get experence in those fields.

It's a double edge sword I suppose.

I don't know... it's hard. I know alot of people in the same boat.
My problem is I know what I want to do I just cant seem to get a job doing it :/
