Hey hey! Good to see an update from you!

And man: I know what you mean... ^^; -- I adore books as well and I know JUST how you feel while at it and, although I don't smoke anymore, I now enjoy my books with a good cup o' coffee and a slice of pie.

Well, about the pizza: one has to learn how to cook somehow, right? xD

I have been rather inactive lately. I apologize for that dude.

I should include some snackage into my reading ritual. Pie and coffee sound like they would go well with a good book.

Yeah, he has to learn somehow I suppose ^_^.

I know exactly what you mean. I've spent entire paychecks on books :).

I would go with "It" as well :).

I need Roland to always be out there, just another book away. I feel the exact same way. Roland and the Ka-tet have been my companion for years also.

*nods* I can lose myself for hours in bookshops, and often do when left to my own devices :)

Unfortunately I have to curtail my pleasure reading at the moment because I have course reading I have to do. But oh boy! Once 18 October has been and gone, it'll take wild horses to get my nose out of a book ...

Occasionally, required reading is interesting, but choosing your own reading material is much more satisfying.

Renowned authors are my candy. Asimov is like chocolaty goodness personified :).

I love books too! It's like we're sisters..only you're a guy and you live in Illinois (I think) and we're not related. So yeah. Some nights I just stay up all night reading. I've kept putting off the Dark Tower series because I have so much else to read. Hopefully i'll be picking those up soon.

"only you're a guy and you live in Illinois" You're correct on both accounts.I live in Romeoville, which is south of Chicago. I'm a midwestern chuckle head, who's family were spawned on a little rock being kicked by a boot(Sicily looks like it's being punted by Italy).

The Dark Tower series is without a doubt, the best work Stephen King ever published. When you get the time, you should definitely pick it up.
