So earlier in the summer, I had started to re-read Lord of the Rings. I got through the Fellowship and most of the way through Towers, but was distracted by Koontz and Poe. But I am now back on track! I have maybe 20 pages of Towers left and then its on to RotKing ( Read more... )

I started reading that book 3 years ago, I still haven't finished it and there's still a bookmark in the middle of it.

I literally stopped on like...the 2nd to last chapter of TTT. I don't know why...I think other books were calling to me. Or I just got lazy. I own RotK, but I haven't read it. I should, but...again...I'm lazy.

I lovvvve the movies though, so much. I haven't watched them in ages and I want to. All of the characters in the movies are so wonderful...disregarding my bias towards some because of the actor playing them. I totally love Sam...he's so fucking sweet and wonderful and strong. Awww I just LOVE HIM. Lol.

Oh man, the movies... They are indeed so so good. I've seen the Fellowship more recently than the other two. I think the last time I saw them all... it was the extended editions, all in a row, last July... I'll have to get on that!

Also, you should so read the books now. Maybe while working when you have down time! : D

Double also (aka p.p.s.) Sam is AMAZING in the movie. SO MUCH. That actor too, Sean Astin, pretty much wins.
