I have no idea how this worked out, but an illness has given me the best lucky break of the Semester. I've got a class where the prof has basically been sick for 2 weeks. Because of this half of our midterm was waived and we were awarded full credit for the essay section since he has been unable to grade, 4 class periods have also been canceled.

That's probably one of the best breaks I have ever heard of. Whenever something like that happened to me, we always had to cram.
