strange levels of anxiety

cornfusing....

I feel terribly stressed and anxious, like I'm on the edge of a panic attack...but it's only halfway. Part of me feels pretty calm and normal, the other half wants to freak out.

Very strange sensations. I have no idea what's causing it all.

yeah, anxiety is weird and manifests in odd ways. Usually I feel like I've had way to much coffee and I can't breath/calm down, it sucks.

yeah, there are these weird moments where it's like a bad drug trip kind of panic, then all of a sudden I'm fine again, and then I'll just want to sleep and not think about anything.

It's really strange because I'm busy with school, but nothing terrible is happening in my life and my work is under control. Like the rational side of me understands that I've got nothing to sweat and can talk me straight but every once in a while (like every 30 min or so) something goes off and is all like..."NO FUCK THAT! NOTHING IS OKAY YOU NEED TO PANIC!"....

I just don't get it. New and strange sensations...

My recommendation is to definitely talk to a doctor, because the long term ramifications of not treating anxiety can be bad. For example, my mom was just diagnosed with diabetes, but she is thin, gets tons of exercise and has always been a health nut. I was confused, but then I was listening to a Radiolab podcast about stress, and they say adult onset diabetes is stress-related.

Also, it's just a crappy thing to have to live with, in my experience.

Also, do you know anything about cantennas?

Don't rule out the fact that you had that big math test around the same time you were panicking. I'd wait and see if it is situational or something more long term.
