prenzlaurberg, kreutzberg, friedrichschain (i might have the spelling of the last one wrong). basically, east berlin is where it's at. 8mm is a good bar in mitte, lots of german hipsters and some us expats. basically just walk around those neighborhoods. you cant go wrong!
