I can't accept that there are no other options. And even if there truly aren't... I can appreciate and admire the kind of selflessness it would take to sacrifice oneself for the sake of everyone else. But there's a certain idiocy to it, too. No single person can assume responsibility for the rest of the population.

...Sometimes, there's such a thing as being too selfless.
