i meant to call you
i was thinking about people i had not spoken to lately
because a friend of mine back home committed suicide on tuesday
and i thought maybe if someone had just called him to see how he was doing... maybe he would have changed his mind
and so i thought about who i might call
you were the first person i thought about calling
and then for some reason
i didn't call
but i can see now
