amazing work! i was hooked (engulfed, for the more dramatic) with your story from the first line. you write amazingly and really nailed their characters. i love how you touched so many issues --and honestly, this fic just might be the synopsis of the whole show. it somehow crossed my mind that alex might die in the series, maybe in the latter seasons. then the question of "what happens now?" after destroying division comes to mind, etc. etc. but i love how you concluded it -that no matter what happens to them, she has him (and he has her). pure magic. <3

i hope you write more, especially since the hiatus is painfully long. i'd love to hear your take on the ending of 1.16. ;)

I'm sort of torn about what to write next. I'd like to write a Post-1.16 fic before the hiatus ends, but I also have this Pre-Series AU stuck in my head. However, since the CW has made April 7 seem very far away, maybe I'll have time to do both! *crosses fingers*

I really wish this was how it happened; it makes a lot more sense for their relationship. These are beautifully written snapshots, gutting and honest, the lyrical parentheses turning into echoes. I love that it starts on the theme of forgiveness - that's definitely something the show could explore more (rather than revenge).

Bit late to the party, but really enjoyed this. Especially in light of how it did turn out on the show, it made this an even more interesting take on them.
