Ah, this was a treat! Long, well-paced Michael and Nikita fic, with a nice balance of angst and more happier emotions. Nice to see them get the happy ending as well - get a feeling that won't come for a while on the show.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. I figured they deserved a happy ending after everything I put them through. Besides, my last Mikita fic was...tragic, so I figured they were due. I have to hope that (in the show) they'll get there eventually. (Please, writers, you haven't let me down so far...)

This has been amazing on an epic scale. It really worked as just a different vision of what could have happened. It's like you took the scene from Covenant, when Michael says that if he'd just listened five years ago, things could have been different, and wrote how they would have been. Thank you! This was well written, well paced and developed. I felt the characterization was spot on, though I wouldn't think Percy would have been outmaneuvered that soon, or given up that way. I loved Michael's sadistic enjoyment of Amanda's discomfort at not knowing what happened on the mission. Truly, a great piece.
