Well our whirlwind trip to Atlanta is nearing an end. I'm exhausted. Next vacation I'm spending on a beach somewhere with someone bringing me drinks with umbrellas. and oh yeah, the kids are staying home. Great kids, but VERY hard to have a relaxing day trying to entertain a teen and a toddler. Maybe 2 is not the best age to travel. : P he ( Read more... )

I didn't know they had an aquarium!

I'm so sure we didn't go to a lot of the same places... Freddy and I did hit Stone Mountain. Then while I was in Chicago and saw that Stone Mountain is the spot where the KKK had come back to life (2 times even) It's like disneyland for white supremicists. Freddy and I were clueless to most of it...

Had I know I would have directed you to a great greenhouse place that had several large koi ponds inside. They have the place decked out gayer than christmas, but it's real nice, and they have HUGE palm trees growing all indoors. It's like what Fred and I would love to have up north..

Did you go to CNN, or Coke? Or the Fox Theater where Gone with the Wind still plays 5times a day?

Yup, it's new and one of the largest in the world. A must see stop if you get back down that way. We didnt even know we were going to Atlanta til the day before so I didnt have time to prepare much in the way of stops. Just took our time wandering around and stopping when we saw something we liked. : )

We were clueless on the Stone Mtn thing as well until I looked up somethign about it that night and a ton of kkk photos popped up. : O
