[that was a topic very near and dear to her heart]

That is not a question easily answered. As a King, you have responsibilities.

However, it will cause you nothing but pain and disappointment.

For my friends, yeah. I would. If it meant saving the world, probably then, too. I guess I kind of already have.

But it wasn't too bad.

... You did?

I guess I did. I was the only one who could do it. I know that.

My friends just didn't have it in them. And I guess some people wouldn't be proud that I do, and sometimes I wonder if I am or not, but... there's no use running from it. I'm the one who can do it, and I only regret what I lost. My actions were necessary.

Anyone who sacrifices themselves for the "sake of others" is just a self serving idiot, not thinking of the people they are leaving behind. If you really want to protect someone, you should find some way to stay alive, and protect them at the same time.

There's other ways of losing yourself besides dying.

TEXT snapekillsedgar April 10 2010, 07:19:30 UTC
So what? It's still sacrificing yourself, even if it doesn't mean death, and it's still selfish. It's like completely ignoring that the people you think you're protecting. You think that they'd want to see you suffer things, without being able to help?

No, but I would rather they not be killed.

There's always that chance of getting yourself back.

I don't think someone is gone forever if they happen to change under those circumstances.

Again, true. I'm probably worrying too much.
