[Transmission turns on with a muffled thump. The sound is grainy and distorted, but still intelligible. There is a clattering sound; Irene swears, and then Gabriel's voice is audible. He sounds self-satisfied, as ever.]

"Boy, Irene, you actually really, really suck at hide-and-seek."

[There's a rustling of fabric and the sound of quick footsteps.
