Drunk, yes, positively. It had started as a way to warm the body, a drop of alcohol to get the blood flowing again. Glühwein, of a sort, for he had warmed it before drinking it, but he hadn’t bothered to add any spices to it.
He drank, but no warmth came. It was still fucking freezing. And so he came down here, where it was warm and where there was warm steamy water. And where, well, silly things were said. He giggled a bit, for he could see Kim’s expression in his mind. Normally he wouldn’t be all too pleased, but right now, it was a very funny face. “Oh, put a sock in it.” He then laughed, in his mind, the sock was placed.
It was the voice that made Michael sit up and at first he thought he was hearing things. But no, after looking around the rock...yet that was a drunk Guy Burgess. Michael sighed and sat back. He really wasn't in the mood to deal with all this right now, so he sat back, hoping maybe if he didn't show himself, Guy would wander off.
But Guy didn't leave. He took off his shoes and socks, rolled up his trousers and sat down on a rock with his feet in the water. A happy sigh emanated from his throat.
His eyes skipped around the cave and landed on the water, right there where... "Burgess, you idiot." He snorted and took a swig from the jug of wine. He started humming and the humm became a song. "Someday, he'll come along." He started.
Michael had heard movement and thought that meant he'd left. But when he heard Guy speak again, Michael had to bite back a groan. Fuck... He leaned forward again and peaked out to see Guy with his legs dangling in the pool, humming a song he'd never heard before. Great...just fucking great...at least he didn't bring someone here to fuck... That Michael wasn't sure he could bare.
