I have spoken with the substitute and I will be speaking with those of you who felt the need to cause a disturbance will be reprimanded

[ And here comes the substitute who was called in for a lesson on short notice. The circumstances surrounding that particular absence seemed strange and Philip didn't quite gather whether subbing was supposed to continue next week. Either way, it couldn't hurt to speak to the teacher in question.
